Bob Lane

Chairman

Bob has been the CEO and President of the Lane Group since 1981. He has over 40 years of experience in retail and supermarket construction and renovation. Bob holds a degree from the University of Rochester and has sat on the Board of Directors for various entities, including Banks, Hospitals, Charities, and Booster Associations.

 

Mark Lane

President

Mark manages the Real Estate portfolio for the Lane Group. Some of his primary responsibilities are: marketing and filling any vacancies, lease negotiations, analyzing and assessing any acquisitions/dispositions, coordinating and budgeting capital expenditures with the maintenance department, and lining up any financing needs the company should need. Mark recently secured a 15 year Lease and redeveloped the Lane Group’s warehouse space for Kiddie Academy, bought and sold over 20 million dollars of real estate in the last calendar year, and increased the Lane Group’s portfolio occupancy rate up to 96%. Mark has experience in 1031 exchanges and is member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He received his college degree from Bucknell University.

 

Robert Lane

VP of Construction

Rob Lane started working with the Lane Group after graduating from Bucknell University in 2003. Rob graduated with a degree in Business Management along with a degree in American History. As Vice President of Construction, Rob is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the business and also works with clients to ensure that their projects are finished successfully on schedule and on budget. Rob Lane grew up in the construction industry. During his pre-college education, Rob worked as a carpenter and laborer on various projects during his time off from school. Upon graduation, Rob then started his career with Lane Construction as assistant project manager and then a project manager before he was ultimately named Vice President of Construction. Rob has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging in scope from small additions and renovations all the way up to large ground out new construction. A few of the many projects that Rob has overseen over the years were the ground out A&P Shopping Center in Denville, NJ, the new Whole Foods build out in Yonkers, NY and Morristown, NJ along with the ShopRite addition in Parsippany, NJ. Rob is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

 

Nick Lane

VP of Maintenance

Upon graduating from Bucknell University in 2005 with a degree in Business Management, Nick came aboard the company filling the role of Project Manager for Lane Construction through 2006. Nick gained valuable hands on experience by working in the field on both union and non-union jobs prior to graduating college. He’s used that experience and transposed the knowledge he gained in the field into the Maintenance division of the company. Nick currently assesses and schedules all repairs to any maintenance issues in the company’s Real Estate portfolio. He also manages smaller renovation projects and services the company’s maintenance accounts which have been developed through the years.
