Who is Lane?

Our founder, Herman Lane, immigrated to America from the Republic of Estonia in 1946.  Though unable to speak the language of his new home and arriving with almost no material wealth, Herman had the tools necessary for success - he possessed moral character, a strong work ethic and steadfast determination.  He set out to learn English, and acquiring this skill, he believed that his American Dream and vehicle for success was through hard work in the construction business.  His dream grew to include Real Estate Development.  And so, in 1954, with a very humble beginning from the basement of Herman Lane's home, Lane Construction was born.

Over 50 years later, we at The Lane Group continue Herman's tradition of moral character, strong work ethic, and steadfast determination.
